YMD LOCAL

YMD LOCAL events are a central part of YMD HUBS where volunteers, youth leaders, ministers and others who care for teens come together to be trained and supported.

YMD LOCAL events take place in various areas around the country a few times a year and serve as a great introduction to YMD for those just learning about what we do, as well as maintaining close connections with those we've been serving.

YMD LOCAL events include relevant and engaging training, along with support and encouragement.

YMD LOCAL events connect you to a local YMD HUB where you can find encouragement and the support of peers in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Youth leaders, volunteers, ministers, para-church workers and all who minister to young people are welcome to come along.

YMD HUBS are free from promoting or recruiting so you can relax knowing you won’t be button-holed for anything or pressurised to participate in anything.

PARTNERSHIP

Loneliness and isolation can be a regular feature of any ministry, not least ministry to young people. YMD HUBS provide opportunities for meeting together for mutual support and encouragement.

YMD HUBS can also facilitate partnership opportunities such as pooling resources and potential for partnership youth events and activities, while allowing local teams to shape and run activities in a way most suited to their local context.
